Seka Collins, IIDA, EDAC

Seka Collins is Florida Licensed Interior Designer at kasper architects + assoc. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from College of Fine Arts, Florida State University. After graduation, Collins moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 2004.

Ms. Collins has completed projects in Higher Education, Corporate, Healthcare, Hospitality and Residential markets in Northeast and Central Florida and Texas. She was Director of Design for Flagler Health+ for six years and managed all projects ranging in scale from small tenant improvement to new hospital design. Prior to Flagler, Collins practiced at Gresham Smith, Rink Design, and Cannon Design, working with organizations including Ava Maria University, Texas Christian University, University of North Florida, Nova Southeastern University, Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, Vestcor, Regency Centers, Foley & Lardner, Fanatics, Baptist Health, and Flagler Health. She has also supported the community as a manufacturer’s representative for the Mohawk Group. She holds an Evidence Based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC).

Collins has served as the Vice President of Student Affairs for the Florida Chapter of the International Interior Design Association. In her tenure as VP of Student Affairs, she created the Student Day event for the state of Florida that was hosted in Jacksonville and in Miami. She has chaired the committee to transform the Cocktail Couture event into a fashion show. Collins is a member of the Florida State Interior Architecture and Design Advisory Council and continues to mentor design students through this position.

In her spare time, Ms. Collins is raising two children and is a registered yoga teacher.
