Director of City Centers | SESCO Lighting

Mike Collins is a Sales Executive with over 26 years of combined experience in leadership, sales, finance, and operations. He spent 5 years serving our great nation in the United States Army as an Airborne Infantryman while achieving the rank of Sergeant. During his time in service, he was fortunate to serve with the distinguished 82nd Airborne Division and spent several years in Germany.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Salisbury University, Maryland in 2006. Later in his professional career he completed his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida in 2013. 

Mr. Collins started his journey in the construction industry when he first started with Graybar Electric as a Financial Manager in Orlando, Florida. He was responsible for all financial statement reconciliation, reporting, evaluating credit profiles, legal guidance on lien laws, and analyzing data. In 2014 he was promoted to Branch Manager for the Gainesville, Florida location. He then entered the lighting industry in 2015 when he accepted the position of Branch Manager for SESCO Lighting, covering the Jacksonville, Gainesville, and Tallahassee markets. In 2016, Collins successfully completed National Council of Qualifications for the Lighting Professions’ Lighting Certificate. He has taken great care to reinforce SESCO’s reputation in the marketplace by driving home that you treat others the way you would want to be treated, you do what you say you will do 100% of the time, and you support those that support you.  

In his spare time Mr. Collins loves spending time with his wife and two children…..and the occasional round of golf!
