Emi Chavez-Miller

Emi comes from a rich and diverse architectural and commercial construction background.  She has been deeply involved in the commercial flooring industry since 2004 when she went to work for her (now) husband’s flooring dealership, where she first learned the trade. She then followed in her father’s architectural footsteps and went to school for her master of fine arts in interior design in south Florida at Miami International University.  After working in interiors at a few Florida based design firms, she made the leap into flooring sales in 2014 and is not looking back.  She loves the special opportunity that working for Commercial Flooring Distributors affords her – the chance to still be involved in the design and selection process, while acting as a technical consultant to her clients.

“I love to see a building come to life whether its new construction or renovation, small space or large scale. This is something my father taught me. Creating a livable space that is both functional and beautiful is the greatest kind of art. I feel really lucky that my work allows me to live my passion.”
